Advertising at the College has been designed for the best value for money for the advertiser. Banner advertising in rotation iradicates the common problem in advertising where a reader becomes desensitized to an image and no longer pays any attention to it. The pay per click system of banner ads ensures that you are paying only for those who actually click on your banner and visit your site. There is no better system!

There are Three Types of Advertising Currently Available at the College:-

Having worked in advertising and publishing for 12 years, I know what's important for both advertisers and the advertising agent. Both want results. I would hardly be doing my business any good by pushing advertising that isn't going to work. There are several things to consider when advertising so here's my recommendation.

Demographics

You need to define your target audience. For example, I would not recommend that a mechanic advertise their services at a spiritual site. After all, even though spiritual people drive cars, they're rarely in that frame of mind when they're looking around a spiritual site! It's much smarter to invest your hard-earned dollars in advertising at an appropriate medium such as the cars section of a 'how to' site. Take the time to sit down and define your demographic - that is the group of people most likely to use your services. Consider, gender, age-group, interests and nationality. Depending on your services or products there may be other demographics to consider as well.

Here are the current College Campus demographics (broad statistics)

• 90% female
• Ages 13-50
• Approx 20% professional lightworkers (healers etc); 50% unprofessional but experienced; 30% little experience.
• Approx 30% title themselves as witches, sorcerers or shamans

Use these demographics to help determine your advertising campaign.

Banner Ads At Campus

Banner advertising at the College involves having your banner placed at the top of every page in rotation with other advertisers. This is a very effective method of advertising as it prevents the desensitization that usually occurs with images where the mind is trained to disregard images they see regularly. As the images and colours are changing all the time, the eye doesn't desensitize.

The other important aspect to this advertising is that it is priced per click. This way you only pay for those who visit your website. It doesn't matter how long it takes, you pay only for the clicks, that is the number of time readers click on your banner.

Your Banner must be 468x60 pixels and can be animated if you choose.

Banner advertising is currently on special for only $5 for 50 clicks - that's 10 AUD cents per click! Having researched the net for some time on this subject, I have found that pay per click usually commences at around $3.30AUD. Banner Ads In Newsletter

You can place your banner ad in the newsletter for one months appearance for only $10AUD. This includes all newsletters and messages going out each month (approximately 10 per month). There are two places available in the newsletter per month. Once you've appeared once you shall get the first option for repeating your appearance before it is opened to other advertisers.

Text Ads Newsletter

Text advertising will take place in bordered text spots see here. Each ad can take up to 5 lines of text including a bold One line heading and a link or contact details. Your text ad will appear in each newsletter and message published for one month. Text advertising for one month is $5AUD.
